I have been getting the below error while uploading paper back cover.

the images used in the cover are less than 200 dpi. I am using a high resolution pdf file of 300 dpi but still this issue persists.
Can someone help what might be going wrong.

You would be very wise to upload your paperback at CreateSpace.com. It is also Amazon.

If you are using Word to create your PDF, the photos won't be 300 dpi. Word automatically reduces density. You'll need to turn that function off.

I think your images need to be 300 dpi. You might make a PDF at 300dpi but it won't really be if the images embedded in it are less than this.

I use CreateSpace (also is Amazon) for paperbacks and I upload JPEGs for the cover. I use the option where I furnish the front and back covers so I have my words already on both. You don't say how (PDF, Word.doc, JPEG) you are uploading your covers.

I got that error too because my photo in my pdf was not 300 dpi. I would have changed the photo, however it was the one I was set to use. I proceeded past the warning and I was able to move past it regardless. I did not have to clear errors. I'll be ordering my first edition today, then I'll see what it looks like.
