I published a book on KDP, and later realized that I didn't put in an index, or a copyright page. How does one go back and do this?

Upload your corrected manuscript OVER the one now there.
You will find it on your Bookshelf.
Be sure to click on Publish when done.

I am still not sure what to do. You said to: Upload your corrected manuscript OVER the one now there.
You will find it on your Bookshelf. Be sure to click on Publish when done.

You mean I will need to re-create a new, corrected version and upload it, over my current one, right? And, if so, what are the steps to Upload my corrected one over the current one? Just click, drag and drop? Sorry, I am kind of techno challenged. Thanks.

You create a new version of your book without the errors. Go to your Bookshelf and to the book. Go to the area where you originally uploaded your book and upload the new version right over the old one. No, it is not drag and drop. Be sure to click on publish when you are done.

Look all the way to the right on your bookshelf where there is a promote advertise button. Next to that on the right is a little box with 3 dots. Hover your mouse over that box and some options will come up for you. Click on edit ebook content. Then it will take you to upload your new version.

Presuming you have a live version. It will stay live while your new version is going thru the process of acceptance. Then you'll get an email saying congratulations it was published. I've changed mine so many times but I can't remember right now. I think make sure you go thru all the steps clicking thru the pages to the end after you have uploaded your new version as if you were starting over.

I don't think you meant your reply to go to me.

Keep in mind that whenever you go into a book to make changes, it ADDS pages to the Look Inside.
I found it is a good idea to check the LI for a book after a few days or so.
With one of mine a while back, I found the entire book could be read on line.

You are right. I'm having a hard time lining up the reply button to the right person. Thanks for pointing that out.

When I first published my book in paperback, I was lazy and created the eBook with a .Kpf file. Now I have had a couple people say they can't download it to their device (anything but Kindle Fire or using a Kindle app). I created a healthy .mobi file, and just tried to upload it over the original .kpf and it now says:

This content is a reflowable eBook. Updating a fixed format eBook with a reflowable eBook is not supported. Please review your document to better match the original submission.

How do I upload the new file without changing the title. I don't want to completely un-publish it and not be able to keep the same title as the paperback version...
What do I do?

Thank you!
