I just received this message from KDP support. Hope it eases some of your concern:

"Hello Claire,

I understand your concern regarding the issue with the sales reports.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

There is a technical issue due to which there is a delay for the sales to reflect in your reports. However, this doesn't affect your sales or payments.

Our Technical Team is working hard to fix the issue. I'm unable to promise a time frame at this time, however the issue should be resolved soon.

Rest assured, this doesn't affect the visibility of your book.

I appreciate your patience while we work on fixing the issue.

Thanks for being a part of Amazon KDP. Have a good day ahead!"

Thanks, Claire. Highly appreciate your sharing Amazon's reply with the rest of us. The notice is still there though reporting on KU reads and sales do appear on a daily basis (at least on my dashboard). I hope it means I still have more unreflected reads and sales. :D

Once they get over the problem and if they reflect all missing sales on the date they fix it, then, as one post mentioned, we'll all be in the top 10 of our categories. LOL

I really hope they fix it soon. It's the Christmas season and we all know what it means for book sales.

I got a similar reply:
"The information in your KDP reports may take longer than usual to update, and your payments are not affected. Currently, we are unable to provide you a tentative date. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

Our technical teams have diagnosed the issue and are working full-time to correct it. Please note that all the sales and royalties are recording properly on our database; however, there is a delay in showing those sales and royalties on publishers' KDP Reports.

Once it is resolved, all the sales and royalties will get updated on your sales report. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we address the problem."

More time for writing, I guess, instead of checking up on sales!

I just posted a new book three days ago, and not knowing if it's selling is nerve wracking!
Is everyone else showing no sales? Or is that just me? Oh please, don't let that just be me!

It is all or almost all who are having bad reports.
I had a 3rd Kindle sale show today for the month. Big WHOOP!

It is also totally possible you sold no copies. Does your book have a sales rank?

I nearly fell off my chair after seeing my first sale creep in yesterday after almoat a week of being kept in the dark.

... Yeah... It was a sale from the UK store. Lol.

My perception is that the problem is STARTING to clear. This morning I reflected six sales first thing out of bed on my sales dashboard. When I dug in I found that all
six were in Australia! I've never sold more than two in a day in Australia. This suggests to me that the reports are starting to 'catchup' on prior sales that were not reported
in a timely fashion. However, it would be great if the zon would clarify how delayed sales will be reported, i.e., will previous dates when the sale actually took place be updated,
or will they simply be added to the current date?

I have the same problem in my KDP dashboard. It is so annoying, because I have a book launch going on this week, and I cannot trust the sales figures in my KDP dashboard.

I have also been experiencing similar issues in AuthorCentral reporting. Do you think they are related?

It doesn't have a sales rank, but I published in the midst of the reports issue, so I don't know if that means I haven't sold anything or if the issue is keeping the ranking from being generated.

Earlier today I noticed that a few more sales posted, after three days or so of complete "radio silence."
