Hi

I am planning to publish a 10 books series.

I already published 4 of them but Amazon took as a 3 parts series and doen't allow me to add from the 4th book and up.

Is there a way to solve this issue?

PS: I added all the books in the author central and I am really frustrtaed because Amazon shows only 3 books in the horizontal strip below my book.

My book is: Zombies... Really?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076D55ZP4/ref=series_dp_rw_ca_1

Thanks
Sheila

Check that your new book data has the series name spelled completely correctly and correct series number.

While we are here: call it a series, do not add the series name to the title of the book, and do not write your author name in ALL CAPS.

Once that is all done, if the problem is not solves email kdp support

It's "series," not " serie."

It's up to you to accurately enter the metadata and request that each book be added as published. You do that by claiming the book in Author Central, then using the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page to ask KDP to add the new book to the series page. It is not automatic. When you do so, include the the book AISN, the series page AISN and the series name.

Sometimes it happens automatically and sometimes it doesn't, just part of the mysterious ways of Amazon. I never reported any of my series but they got series pages spontaneously.

I had to ask for series pages. The representative tech who set them up told me I would have to notify them as new entries were published. I'd have told them anyway, if only because KDP is not to be trusted with many things. Have we not learned that?

Hi Emily
Thanks for your advice.
I am not sure what do you men by calling it a series.

Example

Title of book: Zombie Highway
The series name and volume number: ZOMBIES... REALLY? #3

In which area do I "call" it a series?

Thanks

She's referring to this...

ZOMBIES... REALLY? : INFECTION (No 1 from 10 books serie) Kindle Edition
by SHEILA BET

You call it a "serie." The proper word is "series." And the author's name should not be all caps as you have it.

Also, your volume number should be the number and nothing but the number: 1
The total number of books in a series should not be given, especially when they do not exist.
The name of the series should not be used as the title; your actual title has been relegated to the status of a subtitle.

Your sales listing, if you want to seem professional, should read...

Infection (Zombies, Really? series, Book 1) by Sheila Bet

If you don't care, it really doesn't matter. Do whatever you want.

You mention only three books showing in the strip. If you mean the series page listing, it will only ever show the first three books in the series, regardless of how many there are. Any others will be shown if someone clicks on the series link. And as someone else said, don't call it a 10-book series unless there are 10 books already published.

I deleted your last post because you should not have posted a link on the forum to someone else's books. I was talking about the product page listing that only shows the covers of the first three books in a series, but yes, it will show all the others if you click on it.

When I checked her book it was not showing #4 even when you click through to the full series page.
