Hey guys,

Since the time before Christmas and afterwards I have sold very few ebooks. In the last 5-6 days I have sold no ebooks, but have sold 3-4 paperbacks of the same book. I am concerned that ebook sales are not being recorded. That the tracking system is messed up somehow. I sold an ebook in Australia today, but U.S. where I usually sell a lot has been dead last 5-6 days. Is this coincidental or are some of you noticing the same thing. It's also the same with KENP. It's been flat for 5-6 days also. I believe the reporting in the U.S. or the technical aspects are a mess. How do u guys feel?

Or maybe ebook sales are just down because they don't make good Xmas presents. Books sales are inherently variable for all sorts of reasons.

December 25-30 was pretty good for me. After a drop on December 31, things are back to normal now. These are all e-book sales; I don't even bother checking my Createspace reports now.

As Emily said, every author has variations, and trends are difficult to spot. There are certainly periods where the reports are broken (as we saw last month), but thankfully, that doesn't happen on a regular basis.
