hi,
i am from india and i want to publish a paperback with KPD but right now i am stuck at the tax interview page and have no clue what so ever to proceed further. C an anyone please help me regarding the same?

Have you entered your home-country tax identification number? That's the first and most important step.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook. Each does one thing well and the other thing poorly.)

Yes, you need to provide your PAN number and complete the formalities. This will be used for deducting the tax before crediting your royalties to your bank.

If you're publishing a paperback with hopes of marketing it in India, be aware that neither CreateSpace nor KDP-Print distribute to India. Others in your situation have been advised to seek out a local printer that can place it on the Amazon/IN marketplace. The question has been raised and answered many times, so a search of the forum should net you several possibilities.
