Great Thriller!!!

November 2011 - The battered body of a swimmer is dragged out of the stormy Atlantic Ocean onto a small rocky cove in West Cornwall, no-one is able to provide a clue to his identity, except for one man and he’s trying his hardest to turn his back on the human race.

October 1919 - Thirty one men lose their lives in a horrific accident in an exposed Cornish tin mine.

How are the two incidents linked?
Local journlist May Jones and writer, turned hermit Joseph George form an unlikely partnership and attempt to find out.

Mixing the horrors of a Victorian mining disaster with the powerful scenery of the West cornish coast this pulsating, fast paced thriller evokes images of a rugged and sometimes deadly coastline

Amaranth
by Salo Maa Neco

We have a saying in Turkey, that if you see a boy in your dreams you’ll receive good news. Everyone wants good news. Amaranth will be your dream of a little boy. It’s the beautiful, sad, sweet, charmingly funny, and sometimes a little frightening story of Eşref (pron. Esh-ref). His story is told to you by his best friend Tarsin. But be warned, these two boys and their story will seduce you. They’ll catch your breath and sweep you away. I promise. From Eşref’s innocent emerald-green eyes to his naive understanding of girls to his profound belief in the magical powers of chocolate and coffee and vanilla and Rudyard Kipling and hand-woven woollen rugs... you’ll be seduced by these two boys and their story.

It’s a simple story, well told. It’s a magical journey through childhood Istanbul. There are shadowy cobbled streets, gigantic ships and day trips to the islands. And there’s food. Oh my - there’s seductive, fragrant, lusty food. Crisp-crusted bread, eye-openingly sharp coffee, and knee-tremblingly sensual chocolate cake. And then there's lust.

Just lowered the price of my book to $2.99. It's a surreal horror story made after I had the practice of writing many free ones (Dead Bart is the best known).

Er...have I posted here yet? Oh well - lemme hit ya with this. :D

Well, Lord knows I could use some freakin' exposure and visibility right 'bout now!

Suffice it to say you can pick up my debut novella (the first in a series, which are first posted for free at my The Pen Is My Sword litblog - unedited and raw-ish, but still readable and good. <3 ) at either of these two locations:

Amazong ($2.99, should be $1.50 soon)
http://www.amazon.com/The-Generalist-Clich%C3%A9-Memories-ebook/dp/B009F7K5U4

Smashwords ($1.50 right the hell now!)
https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/239832

The Pen Is My Sword (my main litblog where Taboo 1 can be read for free until I format it and publish it, and Taboo 2 will go up after I'm done writing it)
http://www.thepenismysword.com

It's an action-adventure urban fantasy set in a near-future Neo-L.A. chock full of all kindsa fun. Here's the blurb for the series in general, followed by Taboo 0, the first story.

Action. Adventure. Fist to face. The Generalist is a hard-hitting ride through the Los Angeles of tomorrow, stuffed to the brim with monster-gene humans turned cannibal, Artifacts of enormous strength warping the very fabric of reality itself, secret organizations seeking to out-maneuver each other for ultimate power, and every day a simple miracle just to survive.

And who's standing between the rest of us "mundane citizens" and the myriad forces that seek to devour and conquer this world and those beyond?

The two violence-prone action junkies of the Shop: Frank Todd, the Generalist, and Daniel "Dash" Hopkins, his troll-gened companion and partner-in-crime.

Taking on all foes and challenges no matter how great or small, the Shop will do the job, get the pay, and woe betide any and all who dare to thwart their will!

Magic, martial arts, misfits, monsters and mayhem!

The Generalist! Because you simply cannot read about people getting punched in the face ENOUGH!

In Taboo 0: Cliché of Memories, the series opens up hard and hectic with scrambled memories, a life to figure out, and a city of darkness to wade through:

A bathtub full of blood and a head empty of memories. While I'm pretty certain that's not the normal way that I wake up on a daily basis, it's certainly how THIS day starts!

From there it's a hop, skip, and a jump into more crap than I'm fairly certain I can handle. Fighting my way through a city full of magic and monsters, and doing my damndest to figure out who and, possibly, what I am.

'Cept I don't know if I'm ready for that or not.

The Generalist - Taboo 0: Cliché of Memories! Because you simply cannot read about people getting punched in the face ENOUGH!

"We're the masters of disaster, the innovators of violence. We are the torturers and madmen, the boogeyman amongst monsters. We are the Kings of Angels and the Sultans of Swing." ~ Frank Todd to Legatus Valken, Taboo 2: Magic, Mayhem, and Misfits.

Ashburg, California; the city that’s split into rich and not rich, the upper class and the middle class, the snobs and the down-to-earth…that’s how the teenagers perceived it, anyway. And it all stemmed from two schools’ rivalries. The rivalry has grown now that there are a set of twins that go to Ashburg Arts and a set of twins that go to Ashburg Academy that don’t see eye to eye.

Reagan and Ronan Jacoby thought that their only problem was wondering if their cop father, Elijah would make it home from work every day. That is, when he wasn’t trying to keep them out of trouble. They didn’t think their father dating would complicate things even further.

Savannah and Mickayla Powers thought their only problem lied in the intense dislike they had of each other. They should be classified as fraternal twins rather than identical. The only thing they can agree on is that their mother, famous fashion designer Dallas, was acting strange.

The four girls’ lives are turned upside down when they realize that they have something in common, more than just their schools’ rivalry and their own problems. There’s a shocking secret that’s at play…do they have it in the cards to figure it out?
