It may not have been your intention but you are coming across as extremely argumentative.

Most of my sales were either in UK or US.

I have very well accepted your constructive criticism to improve.
I had no issue to get the response for my book on autism without mentioning my degree.
I am not satisfied with your reply as I have already mentioned. The way you are replying back , you too seem to be defensive for yourself.
I posted a question here as it was suggested by KDP. I thought someone might be knowing about the changes in the policies or something like that.
Anyway thanks to volunteer your time.

No known change in policies, but there is a 30 day period of time where the book has better chance of being discovered when it is first published, then it drops off at 60 and 90 days. I've checked your books on the US store and only 3 books ever sold any copies. The rest have no ranking at all which means no copies sold in that market or were borrowed in the case of KU enrollment. It does appear they sold in India, where I suspect the English issue is less of a concern.

I have one short story book which hasn't sold or borrowed in two months and it is now rank 2.7 million after having one sale that boosted it to 200k. If it goes to three months, I'll have the decay number for that stretch too unless someone buys it again. I can say that your three books that sold in the US market haven't sold any copies in over two months. I can't say for sure how long it takes to decay to 3.5 million rank, but I'm guessing three months, maybe four. The exponential decay gets smaller as the book sinks, so I can't just calculate the expected rank with only two months of data and quick back of the envelop calculations.

Using social media might help get a spurt of activity on your books but unless you continually expand the people you put the books in front of, you won't get any new readers. AMS ads can keep your book relevant. I've been doing a combo of AMS, Facebook ad (buck a day version), and newsletter swapping/group promo to keep my full sized novel alive. It's not in the top 100 best sellers by any means, but with only one novel out, I am only using very low cost advertising and ensuring I make more than I spend. When I get more books in a series out, I'll have more options. However, AMS is only for the US market, and like I said, you'll have trouble selling your books to US readers. I would probably try running Facebook ads specifically for India to see if that makes some sales and get more active on social media than you are already (assuming you like doing that).

The autism book (paperback) is ranked at 2,300,000+ on the UK site. The badly written English book has no ranking at all, thus no sales, at least in the UK.

When sale is not there, it's obvious rank will go low. Book can't be as bad as your comment.
I have already marked my post as answered.
So try to increase your rank with your post somewhere else.

Have you forgotten what are you supposed to do here? If you don't have anything to say, then don't say. You will sound logical.

WHAT would that be?

If you don't have anything to say, then don't say.

I did - and did.

You will sound logical.

If one doesn't say, one doesn't sound anything.

Actually, the great time waster is you, in starting it in the first place. You asked, everyone answered, and you went into full-blown denial mode. As one poster mentioned early on, there is no mystery, none at all, about why your books are not selling. If you don't want to accept what others have told you, fine. Move on. And to coin a phrase -- Waste someone else's time somewhere else.

I have already marked this thread as answered but you have enough time to argue illogically.
