Well I've posted in a few threads here already, but if you like paranormal/ urban fantasy novels then you will like my book. The Birth of Jaiden is a book about a vampire who has to raise a human baby. This baby is a very powerful witch and she is the key to the fate of the world.
The main character is Alex, the vampire and he is part of The Great Council, who make the laws for the supernatural. This book has Angels, witches, dark angels, and it's full of action. Read the reviews, cause I guarantee you that there are no sparkly vampires and love triangles dominating the book and the reviews are not from people I know either.
My husband is a soldier and a manly man...and even he liked it. He doesn't read much either. I thought maybe it's just cause he's bias, but he got me orders over there in Iraq from 40 of his soldiers, and several of them read the book overnight as soon as they got it. A bunch of them told him to put them down for the second one too! So, check it out!
"Ranging from the crumbling ramparts of the Great Wall of China to the breathless heights of the Himalayas, John Dwyer travels across Asia's wildest and most fascinating regions and celebrates the journey rather than the destination. Follow his adventures in China, Tibet, Nepal and India as he passes through the sunken gorges of the Yangtze River, drinks snake blood in Chengdu, gets smuggled illegally into Tibet, observes mysterious ceremonies in ancient Buddhist temples in Tibet, basks in the glory of Mount Everest, and watches the dead being burned on the banks of the Ganges."
Praise for High Road To Tibet:
"You John Dwyer really do give an authentic feeling of the contrasting atmospheres as you move from place to place." - Dervla Murphy, international best-selling author of Full Tilt.
"If you really want to find out about Asia, this book is a must buy for you." - Bibi Baskin, television and radio presenter.
"It takes a very good travel book to make a Corkman want to leave his home-town - but one such book is High Road To Tibet" - Ronan Leonard, Evening Echo.
Thanks for creating a forum for promoting new books. Mine is The Brit: Drawing Dead. It is literary fiction.
Ordinary men make bad decisions every day. The Brit, T. S. Fowler, is no different. One extraordinary, desperate act in a Las Vegas casino turns the Brit's life on its head. He is in a foreign country with no money, no friends, and no earthly idea what to do about his predicament.
Hello everyone, I'm Benjamin Andrews. I've recently published my first ebook, which I'm highly excited about. It's a dream come true to see my work out there finally! My ebook is called Rift of Askrah Book 1: Fracture. It is the first book in a series. It's the story of Nihlen Draven, who must reclaim his kingdom after he is kidnapped and his land subjugated. With help from friends he finds along the way, he must save his kingdom, and ultimately the rest of the world, from a threat that reaches back to a forgotten kingdom known as Askrah. Their world is changing in ways no one can understand, and Nihlen and his companions must cope with this change while doing everything they can to understand the past, and how it affects the world as the age cycles once more into conflict. I hope you will enjoy reading my book as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you for your time!
