I just published my first book last week and from my report page so far, no sale yet.
And won't be. I'm not trying to discourage you, but 26 pages priced at $2.99 from an unknown author won't sell. Also, your blurb is bad, you have errors, you have formatting issues, and the cover is not good.

Why hide from it? Or are you expecting some for of retaliation from people who troll these boards?
Robert, it happens. I don't always agree with people on this forum, and haven't always done so on other forums. I've seen others who have revealed their author name be hit for just that.
I'm actually very proud of my success as an indie author, but I won't advertise my sales numbers and rankings because there are people I've aggravated who are in a position (and if they so desire) who would attempt to damage me if they could.
With all due respect to the poster whose user name is dale jackson, I did sort of challenge his claims. I happen to respect him for answering that challenge. My concern now is for him. Why? Because I've seen it happen when "fellow" authors become jealous of success.
Mr Adams if I knew how I wouldn't be pulling my hair out now that sales have slumped to 30-40 a day. I understand a lot of authors don't see those kind of numbers so I don't want to appear too conceited.
Thats brilliant news
We could all do with success stories this week. Mine are a teeny tiny burp in comparison but I see new dental work on the horizon....three years hence lol.
This thread though is rather like the opppsite of sage advice given to me years before Ryanair...to paraphrase, never ask the person sitting next to you on the plane the price of their air ticket
