The next great war will be around 40 years from today, and unlike previous wars that were mostly over land, this one will be over food. The coming food shortage is no joke, and nothing can stop it except a steep and rapid decline in population.
With all the destruction are causing globally, some scientist will likely have the bright idea to create a pathogen that will be aimed at specific genes within the black population and wipe it out completely, with the rational that it will serve humanity as a whole to get rid of so many trouble makers while also freeing up food resources for those of us left alive. Creating and releasing such a pathogen is easy enough to do, and no one will ever know it was done. They just think it was a natural disease or virus that came about that only black folks could have like sickle-cell anemia.
Or . . . within 40 years the focus may have shifted off of blacks and onto a different group--the Chinese for instance, and for God only knows what reason. So they wipe out the Chinese population instead, freeing up 2/3 of the world's food resources overnight.
Governments may even simply try to wipe out whole people groups as a matter of survival with no other rational needed. But no one will ever admit to it. They'll just call it a new disease and an act of nature/God.
Thus, there will either be a coming physical war over food, or whole nationalities of people carrying the same DNA will suddenly start dropping dead all over the Earth. One or the other will happen, and it will happen during the lifetimes of our youngest grandchildren--perhaps much sooner.
For some reason Amazon has been more restrictive as to who can download fixed layouts in recent months. It used to be that people with Paperwhite devices and Kindle Keyboard could download them, but this has changed lately. I'm not sure what their logic is, but I'm afraid we'll have to live with it.
Only reflowable eBooks are available to all devices and apps. Fixed layouts are only available to certain ones, generally larger tablets like Fire and Android.
