I have just published a small collection of poems inspired by mountains. life, and the things that surround me in the small Asian island where I find myself living. It's free in the library. Please check it out. Any constructive feedback would be appreciated.
Love this review posted on Amazon: In prose as smooth and easy as the sweet iced tea so favored by its characters, The Pecan Man uses familiar period issues as a backdrop to examine the motives that drive our individual actions. Each character has to face both the selfishness and the selflessness that inform all human behavior, alternating and occasionally evolving, as they navigate the circumstances of their lives. Although set in the South during a volatile period for the Civil Rights movement, this story is more specifically about how we define family and how, as a family, we forgive the failures and flaws, even when they are our own.
Having grown up myself in a small southern town in the 70's, so many memories were stirred by the wonderful sensory desriptions of the town of Mayville...the JC Penney store, the soda counter, the homecoming parade, all seem like home. Likewise, the people who populate the town are typical but so richly developed as to not be stereotypical, driving home the point that no matter what you think you might know about a region, an era or an individual, you rarely know the truth.
"Little Women - Young Moon" is a saga of the terraforming of the worlds of the Inner Solar System as seen through the eyes of generations of young women.
Book 1 tells the story of Young Moon, a talented and extraordinary girl, born in North Korea in the near future, who’d like nothing more than to be left alone to talk to the visions she sees in her drawings -- visions that come to warn her of an impending catastrophe.
Young Moon’s family escapes to China, where she witnesses her father set in motion a world-shaking disaster of epic proportions.

Hey everyone! My book, "Silk Vol.1: Erotic Tales of Sinful Delight" is available now for .99! Here's the description and excerpt!
Hearts racing, blood pumping, and bodies drenched in sweat from head to toe are just a few of the exciting images readers will discover in Daryl Jarod’s “Silk Volume 1: Erotic Tales of Sinful Delight”! The steamy scenes beyond the book’s sensual cover leave absolutely very little to one’s imagination, proving that this author’s skills aren’t to be taken lightly. Whether the characters are exploring the art of lovemaking for the first time or losing their clothing in public, this book reveals just how heated things can get when hearts and bodies connect.
Excerpt from Silk:
The rain softly falls down from a darkened sky onto my windowpane. The soothing sounds relax me as I sigh deeply. Lavender scented candles surround the king-sized bed I lie in. The light flickering from the candles, along with the magnificent scent they provide, adds even more pleasure to my relaxed state of mind.
He snores softly beside me. His head is planted on my chest as my fingers roam through his curly locks. I lift my head up from the pillow in order to kiss his forehead. A tiny smile forms at the corner of his full, succulent lips.
I allow my head to fall back onto the pillow. This feels perfect. My man lies comfortably in my arms after a passionate session of lovemaking that transpired only an hour ago. I’ve experienced pleasure from many men in my lifetime but no one has ever been able to explore my body the way this man has.
Everything about my love is just right: the way he holds me almost always causes chills to run down my spine; the way he kisses me sends bolts of energy flowing between my legs; the way he makes love to my body leaves me speechless. No one can ever amount to the love this man shows me, both inside and outside of the bedroom.
I soak in the enjoyment of this perfect moment a while longer before I come to the terms of reality with our complex situation. I love him with all my heart and soul. He loves me also. But the love we share is not what I desire it to be. We remain in the shadows while other couples display their commitment and affection in public. I can not see him every night, although my body yearns for him constantly.
We live in two different worlds, each longing for the day when our lives can forever become one. He is not mine. And I am not his. Although he is the only man I’ve ever truly loved and my soul cries out whenever he’s not near, the truth continues to whisper softly in my ear: he belongs to someone else.
The ceiling fan hums softly above the bed. It sends cold air to my naked body, but it’s not cool enough to settle the heat that develops between my thighs. My heart begins to beat faster as thoughts of tomorrow begin to develop in my head. These never-ending thoughts haunt my brain like an evil ghost.
My mind needs to settle down. I can’t continue to focus on what tomorrow will bring, for tomorrow I will once again be alone. I need to focus on this moment. I have him here with me now and in two hours he’ll be gone.
As my brain continues to ponder on these issues, my hand travels down his chest, caressing each pack of muscle that makes up his well-defined six-pack. It continues to travel down to his thick dick. Even on soft, it still amazes me how long and extremely thick it is. I massage it gently in my hand. It takes no time at all for it to lengthen to its max of ten solid inches. It pulsates and feels hard as a brick in my grasp as I begin to stroke it.
Soft moans escape from his lips while his sticky nectar oozes from the slit of his enlarged member. In a matter of seconds, I place him on his back and my tongue slowly licks his precum. I moan in excitement, allowing the delicious taste of him to travel down my throat.
His strong hands find my head. They grasp a handful of my hair, silently urging me to continue. I obey with pleasure. His body jerks as my tongue circles around his shaft and his dick becomes prisoner to my throat...

"A unique work of fiction by a master storyteller, "Outcome" is a deftly written novel that will engage the reader's total attention from beginning to end, making it highly recommended,” per The Midwest Book Review. This is a full length general fiction/medical drama ~ 84,000 words:
Hurricane Ivan roars into the Gulf of Mexico as Karen Puno and her dog scramble to evacuate a barrier island in Florida and a teacher with end-stage liver disease is placed on an organ transplant list in Indiana.
But fate is not always kind.
It’s not the hurricane which causes Karen’s coma and subsequent organ donation. Nor is it responsible for her battered dog who escapes the crushed metal pile into the blowing sand and gusty wind.
After the storm makes landfall, the weather worsens inland as a pilot must fly the transplant team to harvest Karen’s organs. But fate is not always kind. It’s not the tension in the cockpit from her front seat passenger nor the weather which causes her to abort the takeoff.
As divergent lives and a homeless dog come together after Karen’s accident, they impact each other in permanent, intense, and heartfelt ways. Perhaps fate is kind after all.
At six feet tall, Emily Lucas towers over the "normals" in her Seattle high school. When she discovers, thanks to a pediatric endocrinologist and his X-ray machine, that she’s still growing and will likely hit six foot three, she struggles with her inability to blend.
Emily blames her MIA, giantess mother, Marilyn, for her excessive height and embarks on a mom-quest to find her. She wants to unravel why Marilyn left and learn how to operate as a super-sized person in the world. So begins a journey that leads Emily to Arizona to meet her birth mother.
Then there's Emily's ex-best-friend-gone-wild, Trix. She has an attitude that won’t quit, two non-parents who don’t take care of her as much as she takes care of them, and a tendency to hook up with too many guys in her search for acceptance.
When she finds out she has a chance to graduate early and study her passion–fashion design–at The Art Institute, she realizes she needs to pull herself out of her downward spiral and focus on her goal. Can she get it together and earn herself a better life or is she too far gone?
Emily and Trix, who have grown apart but whose lives still wind around each other like helices, work separately to figure out how to fit into a world that doesn't much like girls who can't, or won't, conform to what's ordinary.
