With brick and mortar bookstores and libraries a thing of the past, all former hardcovers and paperbacks have been converted to eBook form. Hoards of retirees looking to fill their free time and thousands of unemployed college grads enter the self-publishing world. Their first editions are mired in the rankings, #3,567,650 Paid in Kindle Store. Kiosks abound selling Kindle Fire 5's for $9.99 while Apple Ireaders are priced at $29.99. The Kindle forum continues to thrive with thousands of visitors. The most frequently asked question still remains....Are you Notjohn?

Do not forget that movie theaters were suppose to become obsolete with the introduction of beta max. I know they hurt the theaters that showed porn because most of the porn theaters in Oakland closed down. However regular theaters are doing quite well.

First thing first. If we don't elect a new Conservative president in November, we won't make it beyond the next four years, let alone on down the road after 20. Since job offerings are only down 85 per cent all across the board from 2008, people may as well buy indie books. At least their price sure beats the tar out of gasoline. You think?

You're right that movie theater's have basically survived. That is to say, up to now. If you noticed lately, most of Hollywood is in deep doo-doo. There is another glimmer of hope. The new Navy Seal movie "Acts of Valor", will do well. We still have enough authentic Americans around that love their country.

That being a given, don't be so confident about legacy publishing. Unless you've got more money than brains, you're not likely to shell out $29.99 for a paper novel over $2.99 or less for the same book in digital format. In 1906 people said they far preferred their horse and buggy to the new fangled, "horseless carriage."

How many folks do you know today that ride a horse and buggy to work, "if" they are lucky enough to still have a job in this Obama Economy?

Any intelligent person can see Obama may get four more years to ruin this country. After all, there are a lot more leaches who vote for a living in the US than there are adults who work for a living.

If Obama gets another four years, as a small business owner, I would not bother to open a whorehouse, because people will not even have the money to spend on that. I had a friend once who could not believe I have been self-employed all my life. He would always say, "You won't catch me opening a business. With my luck, if I opened a whorehouse, people would stop ****ing."

It certainly looks that way as the Republicans struggle to have a stand out candidate to give him a real run. Not sure a multi millionaire Mormon is going to be a great swing vote grabber!

I'm not exactly proud of any of the Repubs running, but I am sure not voting for Obama.

Three valid points are that the Republican front runners need to start challenging Mr. Obama's pathetic list of total failures and quit the same old "Gotcha" sparring back and forth and pull ourselves out of the Obamanation of self-destruction.

The incessant so-called debates are nothing but extended press conferences laced with pothole questions. There have been very few real debates since Nixon/Kennedy or Reagan/Carter. What really gets me even more are the people who aren't sure what choice to make after these last three and a half years?

Our "Campaigner In Chief" can't run on his record, he must run from it and all he asks for is another four years to finish the job he started. I have to take issue with that because the job he started was the "transformation" of America into a Third World Turd Nation and he is right on course!

Please dear God, make November get here soon!

When the stock market drops like a rock, I'll be generous and give you one guess about their next vote. You might want to peruse the world news. The top ministers in Germany have asked Greece to drop out of the Eurozone. That may not be a warning bell for you but I closed out my stock brokerage account month's ago and I sure am happy I did. You have heard of the Global Economy, I hope?

Yep - they need to go into a room and decide which one can give Obama a run for his money - they then need to throw their support behind that individual and stop destroying each other. At this rate Obama can stick his campaign fund in the bank and let the republicans gift him a second term without a race.

The glimmer of hope is that the Rep candidates are also beginning to see that all they really need to do is hold Mr. Obama up to his horrendous failures. He has the drive-by media in his pocket, that's for sure They ignore the price of gas and historic jobless numbers and tout the next personal appearance of Kate Upton and the scores on basketball games. What does that tell everyone? Perhaps, journalism is dead in America?
