Hi fellow authors,
for those interested in meditation my latest book went live last night -
TEACH YOURSELF ALPHA MEDITATION
This is a personal story of how I used a unique alpha and
a combined visualization process to save myself from
bankruptcy and an emotional breakdown. It worked
magnificently. A handful of close contacts subsequently
used the process with generally spectacular results.
This is the first time I have disclosed this method.http://www.mindtech.com.vu/ALPHAMED.htm
Well I'm currently working on a Space Opera series and I know they will all be over 20,000 words however I do have a trilogy and two other stories that are either considered short stories/novellas so please feel free to check them.
Today (Saturday 21st April 2012) my thriller/mystery/mild horror novella is a free download!
The Disquiet by Michael Burnside
After waking from a nightmare, a confused man realises that the real nightmare has yet to begin. With his only clue a child's drawing in his pocket, Peter along with four new companions, also with erased memories, must work out why they have been placed in an abandoned derelict prison.
That is the problem with body snatching - sometimes the corpses fight back. Ever since the authorities turned to dark magic to halt their trade, Resurrectionists in London have become a dying breed. Medical schools will always need a regular supply of fresh 'subjects', but it is increasingly dangerous to go anywhere near a graveyard.
Resurrection Man Walking is based on a dark period of British history. When body snatchers have to deal with a zombie plague to earn a living, who will win the battle?
Warning! This short story contains course language, mild violence and sexually suggestive themes. Reader discretion is advised.
What would the world be like from a cat’s perspective? Experience the world through the eyes of a young cat with a language barrier, who gets away with more than one would expect. Tag along with Mouse as he shares his story of bravery in his hunt for two pigs that escaped his owner’s farm.
I personally do not have any short works online, yet, but have some that are near polish point, so maybe. I do think this thread reflects the return of the dime store novel, and the serial, which really gives me hope as I have several pieces I am working on that will work well in the serial format. I hope to read many of the suggested works here, and with all the encouragement, hope to publish soon some of my short works. I had been saving them to put them out in a compilation but I think I will just start publishing them as single works, and as part of a series. I think I have come to like Amazon's DP and all the Kindle readers, although I usually avoid reading their comments, to many demands for edits they think would be better stories for them.
