Dark Resurrection is the first of a series of books about a vampire called Jesus Christ and his consort Mary Magdalene. Having been unjustly crucified at Golgotha, to his surprise Jesus finds he has risen from the grave as a member of the undead. A just man during his life, he realizes that his moral outlook has not changed and resolves to do his utmost to take only those deserving of such a fate - death at the hands of a vampire.
The following evening he finds a weeping Mary Magdalene standing outside the empty sepulchre. Having secretly loved her during the days of his ministry, he brings her to the realm of vampires as his consort, at first to her displeasure. Jesus finds that Mary Magdalene is contemptuous of his strict outlook with regard to suitable victims - only the fact that he is her master prevents her from killing anyone who crosses her path.
Not that Jesus has any personal compunctions about killing, though he only slaughters those he deems unjust. Exacting revenge upon his enemies, he and his consort enter Jerusalem and embark on a vicious killing spree, taking the lives of Pontius Pilate, Roman soldiers, various high priests of the Hebrew temple, and others who had condemned him to death.
Later they travel to Nazareth to the home of his parents Joseph and Mary, taking thieves and other criminals for sustenance along the way. His parents, though shocked at first, eventually accept the fact that their firstborn is a vampire. Joseph, having always had an adversarial relationship with Jesus, occasionally resorts to pointed insults with regard to his son's strange past life, his introspection, and apparent laziness when it came to physical work.
Slaughtering many in Nazareth who had wanted to stone him as a blasphemer when alive, he also takes to robbing the the homes of his victims. Realizing that they and his parents will have to leave Judaea, he explains to Mary that money will be needed for for their travels.
Dark Resurrection is a fast paced novel depicting a good and just man, Jesus Christ. In life he had only wished to preach of a personal relationship with God, which led to his execution at the behest of a wealthy and jealous hierarchy of priests who realized that if his message caught on - they would soon be out of easy jobs.
I recently published my first story in a new space opera series I'm writing called The Valkyrie Chronicles. The story is called Valkyrie and I think it's best described as a short novel but I am happy with it's length and really happy with it's outcome, it's actually already sold one copy and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet since it's been published.
I will support any authors looking to increase visibility via twitter

The room was sparse and dimly lit with flickering strawberry-scented candles. Power was out. It had been nearly a decade since Nathan had stood inside someone’s home; since that tragic day when he lost everything that ever mattered to him. Her name is Miriam and she is about to change everything he ever thought about the meaning of life and what lies beyond. Nathan will discover that the strength of love can piece his shattered world back together and heal wounds that cut deep into his soul. But he never figured the perils he and Miriam were about to face by knowing the most horrible knowledge that one can know.
It's about a simple man with a simple life as a space scavenger who finally gets his big break with potential big score. But as he scavenges his new treasure, some pirates show up and try to take his claim.
