Free From the Bondage of "the watchtower". My story of being raised as a Jehovah's Witness and what I experienced as a disfellowshipped person through family and friends. I don't take that name on myself anymore because I am now free.
I am a total newbie and have been scared to come out of hiding until my first reviews came in and now I want to shout them from the roof tops. Check out the first 3 books in my 5 part series. It's a little bit Sci Fi, a lot of Fantasy, a healthy dose of Romance and so I guess it adds up to Space Opera.
Check out my novel, The Long Road to Tomorrow, is now available on Amazon Kindle.
The Long Road to Tomorrow offers readers with a soft spot for romance a measure of resounding hope, a thrilling mystery and how just one person can make all the difference in life, love, and the pursuit of happiness.
Carmella DiPaolo has relocated to London, England. She and her five-year-old daughter Laura Marie live with Colin Underwood, a friend and an attorney, which is seemingly written in the stars, as Carmella has always wanted to attend law school and with his help, she enrolls at Oxford. As she pursues her dreams, she meets the handsome and smart Nathan Montgomery, who has a few skeletons in his closet and while Carmella thinks she is free of her own haunting past, she comes to face to face with David Upjohn, an old and dangerous friend. Secrets and deceit thrive in this wicked plot of what it takes to find happily ever after.
Let me join in the fray! I recently published my first novel ... another general fiction this time is on its way. For now, I hope you enjoy this $.99 offering of a contemporary southern romance.
Meryl’s Commitment is a short novel (approximately 175 “pages”) that follows a young career woman faced with her first significant challenges in life. Torn between her personal responsibilities to career and family and the temptations of an intriguing and delightfully handsome business tycoon, Meryl discovers her true self, finding love and a new future. Readers who may have forgotten how stressful and bewildering those first few years of adulthood were will find much in the character of Meryl to remind them of their own past.
I currently have two books available on Amazon. The newest, Day Soldiers, was originally written as a nod to classic "quirky horror" stories (The Lost Boys, Fright Night, An American Werewolf in London, Zombieland), but my early readers have all enthusiastically told me that this book is great as a YA novel.
I hope you'll at least give it a look, and if you decide to give it a try, I genuinely hope you'll like it.
It's the first book of a trilogy, and if I had to describe it with one word, my hope is readers will agree that word would be "fun."

Abandoned as an infant and raising herself, Jessie learned a long time ago that you cannot trust anybody, but when she finds herself being chased by a man only she can see, that may have to change.
Something's wrong with her. Strange things are happening, and it always links with her temper. Her eyes are the key into the door that leads into her soul - and the fate of mankind.
Her hair blew in the wind and her hawk-like eyes stared at him, a stare harsh enough to kill anybody, or anything, in her path. With pure black skin and vacant black eyes, she seemed like nothing more than a three dimensional gloom. The only way to tell apart her hair and eyes were the thin white outlines of them. Her fingers were used as knives.
Daniel slowly walked toward her. She seemed terrified of others, even though most others were afraid of her. She pointed her knife-like fingers inches from his heart. The knives were now touching his shirt, breaking through it and starting to break through his skin. He leapt backwards, but the murkiness would easily follow him. Suddenly, a loud bang broke the silence, and the girl’s knives turned back into regular fingers, and she was gone.
RECENT 5 STAR REVIEWS FOR “MY TEMPORARY LIFE”
“It was very emotional and gripping. There were times when it was so realistic it was painful but I loved every agonizing second. Well done.”

“I'm really not much of a reader but this has to be one of the best books i've read. I was hooked from beginning to end. I felt really attached to the characters and kind of sad when it ended, but im looking forward to the sequal! This book had just the right amount of romance, drama, and twists of events.”
“What an incredible book. the writing is superb, the characters well drawn and the duality of the story unique. a boy becomes a troubled youth becomes a true, honorable man. i felt i had a window into that special male bonding ritual that we females don’t\cant know about. It kept me reading against my will long into the night. Crosbie captured the spirit of how men lasso their testosterone driven aggression and harness it into love, honor and loyalty. i eagerly await his next book.”
