My prior six weeks' royalty number just changed, it is $8 less than the prior number! How can my number be going down? I have no returns this month, a few last month. I have been selling steadily all month and my ebooks are priced at $2.99 minimum.
My Amazon.com account was recently hacked and I was billed $250 in error that is supposedly taken care of, and my password is changed..Now it looks like someone is playing games with my six weeks sales commissions!
If there is any possible legitimate way my six weeks commissions can be going down, please let me know thanks.
This is normal if the later weeks have lower royalty numbers than the first week. Obviously as time moves on, the first week drops off the report. The next week is now first and maybe it is lower by $8 or something, so your total goes down.
BTW, thanks for telling me about your hacking. I haven't changed my password for years. I will now though
Yes it is possible. And, an ASIN just changed on one of my ebooks. From a O to a 0. Previously I had to be careful to use the letter and not the number, or it wouldn't work, and now it is the number.
The Prior Six Weeks royalty figure is a moving, evolving total. Each week when you add your new week's figures, the oldest week drops off. If that oldest week's total was higher than your newest added week's total, then your PSWR total will be reduced by the difference. If your newest week was higher than the oldest (that drops off), then your PSWR total should likewise increase by the difrference.
