Thanks for the thread! I would like to add my book Future Slave. This story was inspired by Larry Koger's book Black Slaveowners. A black teenager from the 21st century goes back in time and finds himself a slave in the old South. Not only that, his owner is a black woman and a former slave. With historical people documented in Mr. Koger's book and some surprising facts about slavery, this is a fantasy in the spirit of Jane Yolen's book, The Devil's Arithmetic. Here is the link.

"When I left High School, I was daunted by the scope of the world. I didn't know what my major was going to be, what I wanted to be when I grew up, where I saw myself in 5 years, or even who I was. After taking the journey to another state to become a barista, I learned where the true value in life came from, and it may not be what you were taught growing up. Learn how to live an awesome and successful life, in relationships, in your career, and in your art, while living on a dime! It's not as bad as people make it seem, in fact, it can be quite liberating."
This book is what I wish I knew when I finished High School and began my life.
Written and Illustrated by Jason Lovett, writer and Barista, living in Savannah, GA.
My debut novel, A Deceit to Die For, is making waves across the globe. My author website has been blocked in Turkey because this religious, historical thriller exposes a conspiracy behind the recent finding of The Gospel of Barnabas. I am a writer for the Washington Times Communities and spent 12 years in the Middle East. I'd appreciate any honest reviews.

1. This is a different type of paradigm we're in these days and it's important to recognize that. I wrote this book to help the masses.
2. Hopefully it'll generate a following and support my family.
Any reviews would be helpful as well as recommendations.
It's free all weekend (including Monday). Any pointers would be helpful. I've done the social media thing. Just not sure if putting Adwords behind it now or later should be something I should do.
Also, It's a quick read. To the point, but I have no idea if it's engaging. My friends all tell me it is (testing), but I didn't / don't know what a good metric to judge on downloads during a promo campaign is.
I have 81 downloads today. Is that decent? I clearly have no clue. I'm new to this Kindle Publishing thing.
The California Prison System houses a mixture of Mexican cartel members, Mexican mafia, Bloods, Crips, and thousands of other street gangs fighting for control and the author turns this story into a pulp thriller of true crime.
The Prodono ruled the galaxy for thousands of years.
Their civilization was built on the ashes of the galactic powers that came before.
Prosperous and extensive was their dominion until they found the Sol system and the dark secret held within.
Now, millennia after the fall of the Prodono, an intelligent race has emerged from the third planet orbiting this cursed star.
A race of hominids called Man.
Only two ancient orders know the extent of the danger posed by the antediluvian horror within our solar system.
One seeks to possess and control it, the other endeavors to destroy it.
In the midst of the struggle between the pair of secret societies, one man's plot is driven by his insatiable desire for power as he moves to release an ancient alien evil that has lain dormant for over 500,000 years.
Will mankind succumb to this alien evil, or will it discover it quickly enough to stop The Stygian Conspiracy?
I will appreciate a review. My book is free right now so please do pick it up!

I'm writing a scifi series in novellas and offering up the 5th episode free on June 3-7. It's 25,000 words long, so pretty much a one day read. Any honest reviews would be welcome since I've got some price hagglers marking me down my other episodes because they think I charge too much, even when they get it for free!
Imagine waking up one morning and realizing the country you grew up in, wasn’t the country you thought you knew. Imagine losing your job, your possessions, and the safety of your home…all in a very small time period. Now imagine your closest friends, going through the same turmoil.
I would love a review on one of my books. It's an interactive game book about a safari in Africa and the title, surprisingly! is 'On Safari'. This is my first visit to the forum and I would cerrtainly be happy to review books for other authors.
Hello, I've been publishing on the Kindle store since January but this is my first time on the forums. Each month I've released another novel or novella as part of my Winter's Riddle pulp fantasy series and this month I have a new story set in the same world, with a different cast of characters. Feedback would be most appreciated. It's free through June the 3rd and again from the 8th to the 10th.
High above the icy wastes Summer hangs like a languid dream. There everyone is a mage, a monster, or has some talent with the Art, no matter how small. In this floating world Elu wanders a civilization drunk on magic, exploring. This is a story about a world he finds trapped in a bottle, and where he becomes trapped himself. Journeying through this other place he encounters cold iron nobles and fantastic beasts, as he searches for the truth of the realm he now inhabits, even as it changes his very being.
