I recently published my first story in a new space opera series I'm writing called The Valkyrie Chronicles. The story is called Valkyrie and I think it's best described as a short novel but I am happy with it's length and really happy with it's outcome, it's actually already sold one copy and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet since it's been published.
"When the Valkyrie docks on one of Sanctuary's Docking Stations, Bayne finds himself in need of a new engineer and must go to the surface to find one. After a few mishaps he finds a perfect replacement, a Quari called Sara. She is introduced to the rest of the crew of the Valkyrie and becomes accepted among them.
During a transport delivery, they pick up a distress beacon and find a Tolun Station partially destroyed with only one survivor, but this is only the beginning for them"
I've already got the the few stories planned out and I can't wait to start writing them.
Hi. I've just published my book , so some reviews would be very helpful The book is Shadow of the Wraith, a science fantasy novel with humour mixed in. I have found that quite a lot of people who would not normally enjoy sci fi have enjoyed my book.
It sounds like a simple assignment: track down the mysterious Star Wraith and put an end to its rampage.
But when Travis Archer and his team of inept soldiers find themselves the most wanted people in the galaxy – hounded by assassins, terrorists and their own military – they realise the Wraith is just a symptom of a much larger problem...
Finding war raging between one army intent on destroying an entire species, and another that will destroy the galaxy, Travis must put aside his fears and his past to uncover the truth behind it all. To become the hero he's always imagined.

"... I'm always super interested in how authors, especially those that write historical fiction, make their stories genuine and realistic. Dunn does a really fabulous job of pulling the reader into a very interesting story about the people of Ancient Ireland. "

"Outcome, A Novel: There's more than a hurricane coming ...": http://amzn.to/oSrMRg
"A unique work of fiction by a master storyteller, "Outcome" is a deftly written novel that will engage the reader's total attention from beginning to end, making it highly recommended,” per The Midwest Book Review.
Hurricane Ivan roars into the Gulf of Mexico as Karen Puno and her dog scramble to evacuate a barrier island in Florida and a teacher with end-stage liver disease is placed on an organ transplant list in Indiana. But fate is not always kind. It’s not the hurricane which causes Karen’s coma and subsequent organ donation. Nor is it responsible for her battered dog who escapes the crushed metal pile into the blowing sand and gusty wind.
As divergent lives and a homeless dog come together after Karen’s accident, they impact each other in permanent, intense, and heartfelt ways. Perhaps fate is kind after all.
Outcome is ~ 84,000 word novel. If you don’t want to experience what it’s like in an O.R. during major surgery, then don’t read this medical drama/general fiction novel!

Lainey Harkin is a prosecutor who’s on the rise. Sort of. Her boss handed her a gift – a felony prosecution before her first year anniversary. The perfect distraction from the search for her sister who left the family ten years ago. But felony child abuse is not the case for Lainey to cut her teeth on. The case barely begins before heading south. The girl’s father is not who he appears, the mother is insane and to top it off Lainey’s instant connection to the abused girl, Ella, hinders her better judgment.
Lainey Harkin hoped this case would propel her career and provide justice to an abused child. If the office investigator, Nick Rossi, could help her, it just might do that. Spending time with Nick is a distraction Lainey doesn’t need but she must have his help and reluctantly asks him for it. She vows to keep her relationship with Nick professional, but ends up falling for him anyway.
Soon Lainey discovers that Ella’s father is not Ron Michaels, a poor man in need of a public defender, but Vinnie Mancini, son of a powerful crime lord. The Mancini family has eluded prosecution for years which makes Lainey more determined than ever to put the abuser behind bars but the case takes on a life of its own. Disturbing events occur as Lainey builds her case against Vinnie and continues the search for her sister. Is she being targeted by a violent family or by someone who doesn’t want her sister found?
My political thriller, "Duly Constituted Authority," is now available. Imagine the White House and the Pentagon virtually at war with each other:
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff takes on the President of the United States and the fate of the nation is up for grabs: who will win? Take a liberal, anti-military administration hell-bent on using the armed forces for social experimentation with a like-minded secretary of defense with a personal axe to grind. Add to the mix a tradition-minded, career officer and his staff equally determined to preserve the high standards of the military and you have a recipe for a constitutional crisis potentially more dangerous than Truman versus MacArthur. The world watches and our nation’s enemies wait to see the outcome as the White House takes on the Pentagon. Can the cops and the FBI prevail over tanks and jet fighters? A political “potboiler” in the mold of Allen Drury with a bit of Tom Clancy thrown in!
A page turner, written by an actual psychic and teacher of The Tarot."

"The plot has many layers, leaving Lauren not knowing who is friend and who is foe. Revenge, the sex trade, drugs and people trafficking all combine to give us a complex plot and plenty of reasons for the characters to produce twist after twist."
