As a new eauthor I haven't understood the two royalty rates, what benefits each has over the other. I'd be grateful of some clarification. Thanks.

The most obvious one is that you'll get more money wth 70%!

Some new authors try to build a fan base by charging 99 cents and then increasing the price as they become better known.

Other's price their books based on whether it's a short story or full length work.

There are many other factors involved.

In the end you'll have to make a decision on prices based on your perceived value of your book(s).
