North Florida, living in the best kept secret in the state. No traffic, no crowds, no theme parks. A great place to write. I have a new three/two and live on four acres of woods with two cats. Works for me.
Ah, almost a Liverpudlian. One of our visits in that region was to the Wedgwood works - fascinating. As for gwythyr, our visits to Wales have included Abergavenny and Llangollen and its wonderful Eisteddfod.
One of my wife's favorite spots (and mine) in the UK is Chartwell, Churchill's renowned estate. And, because of my Scottish ancestry getting to play the Old Course at St. Andrews was, and is, one of my fondest memories. We, too, were once full time RVers and have traveled the U.S. extensively. All of this, of course, doesn't pinpoint us at present. We have settled in Greeley, Colorado, named after old Horace G. himself after his admonition, "Go west, young man." This is great reading stuff about you folks...keep it up and best wishes to all.
The island city of Alameda California. Between San Francisco-Oakland and also between heaven and hell. Beautiful climate but my guess is more young people have died from gunshot wounds in the Bay Area in the last ten years as all the soldiers we have lost in Afghanistan.
