At roughly 7,500 feet above sea level in the mountains on northern New Mexico. It's cool and dry, and there's always a big sky.
Florida's beautiful, Sarge, but too humid for me way down there. Visited Liverpool a coupla years ago. Went to the Lady Lever Gallery (among other things) because my wife is a big fan of Pre-Raphaelite painting.
I live in a marsh in Colorado called Broomfield. The clay, three inches under the top soil, holds up water well. Wave at Greeley>>>Hi John.
@martitalbott My dad move to Seattle as I was a kid. Nice place to visit. The ocean is cold and the beach rocks!! are soft. Have you heard of Lincoln Park? I lived down the street. At the time it had one of the worlds salt water pools. Way better than the over chemicaled pools. It is in Tacoma near a fairy port.
Yes, we are. My wife got chickens about a month ago and we're starting to have our own eggs. Together with the large vegetable patch we're going to be almost self sufficient this year. Every time I see the reports of gales and torrential rain in the UK I settle back on our porch and enjoy the wall-to-wall sunshine thinking 'go back there, what on earth for?'
