Find a nice place to sit and watch the world go by. Take a small pad of paper in case something hits, but don't struggle to get anything. Just enjoy the day. I usually get the best ideas when I'm not trying to get them. (It also helps to have an idea book. I'm about 10 ideas behind, but if I hadn't written it all down, I might have forgotten half of them...)

I find great ideas come from people watching. Name the people, give them full lives and then create a story around them.

Inyun,

If your story idea worked for a few others, I assume that you could probably "adapt" it to fit your needs? If so, I'm veeeery keen on finding out more. Could I mail you too? ;)
