Why are more people purchasing my books than what's being reported? Last time, it was "technical."

If it is from family and friends, they love to tell little white lies.

I used to think that they hated me for having done what they haven't "had the time" to do. ("I wish I had the time to go down to Spain and do some writing!") But now I suspect that they expect me to GIVE them a copy, which will please them, though they still won't read it.
