Today early morning I received a mail from Amazon as below.

Hello,

As you are aware, we offer our customers free editions of public domain books on Amazon. In order to provide an optimal customer experience, it’s our policy to only offer differentiated versions of these freely available books.

During a quality assurance review of your catalog, we found that you have published books that you indicated were differentiated from the free editions when, in fact, they are not. Please note that adding freely available internet content to a public domain book is not sufficient to meet our differentiation requirements. The requirements specifically state that your content must be “unique, hand-crafted additional content.” Here is an example of an undifferentiated book that you have submitted:

There is a Reaper: Short Horror Series
The Golden Ass: (Annotated)
Walden: (Annotated)
The Trumpet-Major: (Annotated)

As a result, we have temporarily suspended your account and we request that you respond to content-review@amazon.com stating that you will not submit undifferentiated public domain books for sale on Amazon. Upon reinstatement of your account, you must remove any other undifferentiated public domain books that you have available for sale on Amazon.

Until we receive a response from you regarding these concerns, your account will remain blocked.

I have responded back immediately, but still didn't receive any reply from them.

I hope you're not wanting some sympathy for your plight, because you probably won't get it here. Most of the authors here create their own original works and we don't really care when someone comes in here and cries about how Amazon has smacked them on the wrist for trying to post someone else's work. Write something new and original. Then we'll talk.

Mr Dave Casey,

I am not asking anybody's sympathy, especially not yours. So don't be rude while replying to anybody.

I have published more than 50 eBooks and 35 kindle books and within 2 weeks more than 70 books have been sold.

In all the books I have added my own and hand crafted content. But for some books I guess some problem was there.

I am just wanted to know that, when Amazon will reactivate my account again.

They will reply when they have evaluated your claims and not before. Their concerns are specific. They say you lied in stating that your editions were different from the free editions. If you cannot convince them you were telling the truth, that you did more than toss in claptrap gleaned from the internet, then the suspension will become permanent and you will be banned from opening another KDP account. As to the "rudeness" you accused another forum member of, you need to keep in mind that in a community of creators, literary scavengers will be seen as pariahs. Not fair, perhaps, but neither are life, death or taxes.

Taxes are fair. Unless you're rich or a big corporation, and then taxes really are unfair.

Darn, no laughing emojis!
