Xinxii.com a German distributor, it even distributes to amazon. Most of its readers are Geman but then English is international. They distribute ebooks to B&N. Apple. Google and so on. It's better than no sales at all. Best of luck.
I'm glad to hear you say that. Hitch, who has a large stable of authors, reports that the consensus is that Apple is a trivial player, but that has not been my experience. It's ahead of B&N as often as it's behind, in numbers of books sold, but over the course of a year it earns me considerably more money. Perhaps it doesn't play the freebie game? (I have two teasers for free.) I've never checked.

Nope, iBooks does allow freebies (I rotate through a couple of free short stories each month), as does B&N/Nook, Kobo, and Goo*gle Play. What's different about them is they have a much higher conversion rate to paid sales, as compared to KDP, at least for my books.
Most people concentrate on marketing KDP books. While I still market my KDP stuff, I started concentrating on my B&N stories and it has paid off thus far. I make sure that all of my work is connected with links (both in eBooks and on my website) and I have a pretty broad read on social media. Twitter is my #1 source of marketing. Best of all, it's free.
