Last month I received two reports in the mail from Amazon's Escheatment department, noting two past payments from back a few years that were never claimed (not sure why, since I was set to direct deposit) -- after confirming that I did not receive the payments in those amounts, I marked the form as directed, indicating that I wanted the payments to be re-attempted. (It did not ask for any account details, so I know this was not a phishing scam.)
I then mailed the forms to the address provided.
Does anybody know how long it takes the department to go ahead and issue those payments? It's only around $300 or so, total, but I'd still like the money...
My guess is that the earliest you'd get paid is the 29th of this month, with the regular end-of-month payments. Look on your Payments tab under Reports and see if anything is pending. (Though not all the pending payments have made it to the Payments tab yet.)
I completed the Adobe form and submitted it by email mid-September asking for the balance due. It was from a gift card 10 years ago that I must have misplaced and/or never used. Not sure where I could check for it online; assumed they would mail a hard copy check unless they just credit tit to my purchase account (I'm not a vendor)
