Again this in my initial message on this tread:

Hello,
I need your urgent help pls. I have over 30 books on kdp at present. But I found out that none of my books sell organically (that is on their own), except I occasionally publish and republish, e.g 5 of the books, to trigger 1-4 copy sales of other books. I have tried all the skills I've read about including categories and keywords selection, yet my books don't sell. I started using kdp since 2013. With the large number of books I have, by now I should be selling far more than 50 copies a week, but I hardly sell even 2 copies, unless I do some unpublishing and republishing or add 4 keywords in bracket in front of some of my books to trigger 1-4 sales in all just in 1 day of such action. Some of my book links are as below, kindly check them thoroughly and let me know where the problems are and how I can make tangible and organic sales and be high in Amazon sales ranking: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075J4KD7Q https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075HJD6W3 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073TKHZRH https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07197Y7DR https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LY0WY47 . Thanks.

Now, what makes this author to sell well on Amazon than me presently. I would like contributors to comment inwardly within non fiction genre and give relevant advice, not just criticize ...prayers thing or religion thing. I believe I will still make it in my niche, just looking for comment that would lift me up in this area I have srength, not those that will show me fiction where I've got no strength. Just take a look at this author's book:

What is he doing that I am not doing right, what did he do that makes his books sell that mine is not selling yet?

Okpara has been doing it a few years longer than you, is a bit slicker, and a grade higher on his website and general visibility and skills re: bigging himself up. That said, his mid rank books aren't doing super great and his top rank is around #10,000. His few top sellers are semi-respectable but I doubt all those books together are paying the bills. If you aspire to be as efficiently exploitative as he, just keep following in those footsteps. You see over time the books get more about using God to get personal success with spell-like prayers, this might get more bites than the "warfare" angle as it seems more effortless for the desperate and gullible consumer. He also spends time creating the online illusion that he is wealthy, famous and a leader of men. Although oddly none of this can be readily confirmed from websites other than his own.

If you aspire to this sort of path you might get more useful advice from the get-rich-quick gurus at Warrior forums or similar SEO types. Circles where YMYL is a goal to be aspired to not a derogatory term.

I don't have any experience as a publisher yet, but I do have years of experience in writing such as creating newsletters, church devotionals, and writing poetry, etc. However, I would like to offer some advice on what I have seen. Some of the comments come off attacking instead of offering good sound help. Every book has or should have a target audience. In your case, it's a Christian audience, which doesn't matter there has been plenty of bestsellers who targeted Christians. That's why the world is made up of diverse people who write diverse topics because somebody somewhere wants to read about their interests. Your book cover, description, and introduction are some of the keys to help your book get sold. Your descriptions need to better in-depth to sell your reader before he or she even purchases your book. Some of your books regarding money seem like it may be the same information. In this case maybe you should have written a series instead of writing the same book in a different way. Readers want to read something different-a different point of view. It has to WOW them! Give readers something they have never heard before. I would also suggest a professional editor to make sure you don't have too many grammatical errors. I noticed on your "about author" where it details you had a bestseller book, but the name of the book was not capitalized. There was also some English spelling errors. I don't know if Amazon is your only platform, but other platforms may help you sell as well.

Don't give up and I hope you nothing but the best!

Thanks for your encouraging comment. You and Emilly's last comments seems to be the best positive contributions I've got since I opened this thread a while ago. My books are also in Draft2Digital and Createspace platform. If you know of any other platform, do let me know. I need positive criticism, in-dept analysis, useful advice even including categories, keywords selection issues - though I believe these last two may not be the reason I've been recording low sales. Not negative contributors that would say change to fiction writing, where I have least strength, when I know if I get some little advice towards my kind of writing/genre, I will be highly successful with time through my books on life purpose, prayers and other christian book works I am gifted to write. Please, more comments on this thread are highly needed to enable me begin my book business improvement process soon. Thank you all so much for your time, patience and hard earned wisdom.

Thanks to every that have responded so far.

Thank you so much. But kindlly make this statement clearer to me, please: "You see over time the books get more about using God to get personal success with spell-like prayers, this might get more bites than the "warfare" angle as it seems more effortless for the desperate and gullible consumer".

People love to get everything they ask for from an obedient and subservient god. Less effort than rubbing a magic lamp.

And please don't spam your original post. We do get the idea -- you want a magical fixit.

I mean that a spell-like model is something you do and it works--like a recipe, this is more appealing than the idea that you are in a battle of some sort and might lose it.

For the record I am not down on the Christian market or Christians in general--it's a booming area especially if you can get stocked by mainstream Christian bookstores like LDS chains. But the idea of using prayers like magic to get things you want from God... it doesn't seem like the best of Christianity to me. Which is a tad judgment of me, but there you are. It feels like exploitation of peoples faith or gullibility for money.

Which has been a long-standing tradition, going back to when most religions were invented. It's just easier to do now, in the technological age.

You should try the usual spiritual prayers for kindle sales.

It works, I promise!

Then you need to find people in the same business as you to mentor you. We are not those people.

After looking at your pages and the pages of the person you want to be compared to here are some points that might show why he sells more than you:

• His book, at least the preview, is written in correct - Grammar, spelling, verb tense, and style - English for English speaking audiences. Yours has a number of errors indicating you might not understand English as spoken by readers who buy books from Amazon.com.
• Copyright page has a simple statement of copyright - doesn't go into what the reader can and cannot do, etc. (That's a super turn off for me, by the way), Your copyright states it is for the reader's enjoyment only - doesn't make a lot of sense if you're selling the power of prayer.
• His book's table of contents contains links to each chapter. Yours doesn't.
• He doesn't spend an inordinate amount of time telling the reader how cool he is. You spend way too much time with that which makes you appear pompous and arrogant.
• His books are a lot less expensive than yours.

Suggestions to improve your sales:
1. Have your manuscripts professionally edited and proofed for the audience you are writing for.
2. Rethink your price points.
3. Spend less time and effort telling folks how great you are. If you're really that great they'll discover it on their own.
4. Read everything you can on marketing eBooks, and then experiment to find what works for your books.
5. Instead of comparing scores and sales, check out your competition to see what they're doing that you're not. As you can see, asking here can garner responses you might find less than helpful.
6. Don't argue with folks who try to help you here. If you had the answers you probably wouldn't be asking the questions.
7. Follow the advice you give in your books. If you believe in the power of prayer - pray. That is not said facetiously. If you don't believe it how can you expect others to follow your advice?

Good luck.
