Hi

I was going to publish my book on KDP. I got a message it was "Live" and both an eBook and paperback appear on Amazon.com
The book ended up being published elsewhere... so I no longer need this book listed here..

I received a message on bookshelt that my "publishing information was incomplete". .

Now the book no longer appears on the bookshelf. But it does appear on Amazon.com

Do I have to sign up, enter my info and bank #, publish the book (again?), just so that I can unpublish or delete?
NO COPIES WERE SOLD.

Is the best approach just to contact customer service?
Is there a way to cancel the account (there are no other books listed on my bookshelf... .

ANY advice much appreciated. I just want to delete/unpublish the book

Does the ebook appear on Amazon or just the paperback? The paperback listing will always be there even if you take the book out of print as Amazon leaves all historic book pages up for third party sales and re-publication.

If the ebook is still active, contact support and request it be retired.

But if Jeffrey didn't publish it, somebody else must have, and only that person could get it un-published.

(Use CreateSpace for paperbacks; use KDP for ebooks.)

If it says your publishing info is "incomplete," even though you gave all your bank etc. info, and especially if you published the ebook yourself and it''s for sale but your Bookshelf doesn't show it, then:

You logged in with the wrong account! Lots of people do this. Log out. Log in, carefully typing the user name (probably email address) and password, rather than relying on autofill. If you tried to change the password you may have accidentally created this new (non-existent) account.

Once you're back in your real account, you will be able to unpublish the ebook, though as NJ says the print version will linger forever.

He received a message on his book shelf that it was live therefore he must have published it at one point prior to getting the message about incomplete information.
