So I am getting ready to publish my first book on Kindle and the picture I am using I took myself. The issue I am concerned about is one of the items has a logo on it. Do I need to edit it out or does it matter?

Logos are normally trademarked, so I'd recommend editing it out. Even if the trademark holder didn't go after you, Amazon might block it.

Also, if there are any identifiable people in it, you might want to blur their faces if you don't have releases from them.

Thank you. I will edit out the logo. And there are people but they are already blurred out. I appreciate your help.
