I'm new to all of this and have an inspirational adult coloring book that I'd like to publish on Amazon. I don't see a category for formatting it. Any suggestions about how to get started and what to do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

I assume you're talking about a print book? You cannot do a coloring book as an ebook, because a person can't color the Kindle screen, and you can't print things out from a Kindle, and Amazon doesn't allow books that do not provide "complete experience" (so you can't just have a link to a website where they could download and print the images).

If you want to do a paperback, go to CreateSpace and read all about their process. (CS is an Amazon owned company.) You would need to make your images into pdfs.
