When do sales show in report?

I purchased my book I published yesterday and my mother purchased a book this morning and I still have not seen any sales on the reports page. when do my sales show up so I know how many books I have sold,

Hi Chris,

For e-books they should show as orders quite quickly, but they don't become sales until the payment clears, so anything from a few minutes (when I've bought my own) to a few days. For paperbacks, I believe it's when they've shipped.

Note that "yesterday" was September 30, and a Saturday. The conventional wisdom is that when the month ends on a weekend, the month-to-date report is closed on Friday, so the sale should show up for October 1 or 2.

(Don't trust KDP to publish a print edition. Don't trust CreateSpace to publish an ebook.)
