I just went and checked mine and it is the same thing. I spent a ton of money in September on ads, mailing out postcards to my readers, social media marketing, and such. I had a lot of KU page reads and they are just gone along with a lot of my sales royalties. Does anyone know what is going on? I've gone from over a million page reads (across all of my books - more than a dozen of them) to around 100,000.
It's happening to authors across the board but most won't admit to it. Something is seriously wrong with reports ever since Amazon switched from line graph to block graph, and they keep adding bells and whistles to a service that functioned perfectly well beforehand. Sticking to the old saying "If it works it doesn't need fixing" nor does it require tampering with. One could almost be forgiven for thinking hackers are at play given the amount of faux computer generated novels that are topping rankings. But with 70 million books is it surprising Amazon cannot keep track of faux novels, glitches on the system, and continually keep shifting the field of play?
