Hi there fellow authors

I have just uploaded my Paperback book to KDP Select. What I found was that my page numbers on the table of content page, are not lined up, but rather looks rather scrappy. How do you overcome this, and can I change this once it has been reviewed and published??

Many thanks for all the help I can get.

Kind regards,

Jenny

Opening clarification: you published through KDP-print, not KDP-Select. Select is an ebook program where people published ebooks exclusively on Amazon and have their books "borrowed."

But I know this is irrelevant to your question (really for others reading the thread).

In your TOC, which I assume you did in Word, take out the auto-generated TOC and instead put it in manually with tabs (warning: do NOT use tabs in an ebook. Print is fine).

So you would have:
Chapter title tab page number

Make sure that the tab is set up to have a right-justified result. Word's Help function will show you how to do this if you can't figure it out.

You can always re upload your interior.

NJ will soon be along to say (correctly) that CreateSpace works better than KDP-print.
