How do I locate my lost book?

Multiple accounts can be created if you visit Amazon.com and mistakenly indicate that you are a new customer when you sign in-- a new account with the same email address and different password will be created. Please note if you're signed into one account, you won't be able to view/edit in the other account.

Just log out of the current account by clicking on the "Sign Out" link at the top right corner, and log back in to the KDP web site with the appropriate email and password combination. If you have forgotten the password for your KDP account, you can reset it by following these instructions:

  1. Go to the Kindle Direct Publishing login page: http://kdp.amazon.com/self-publishing/signin
  2. Click "Sign In"
  3. Click "Forgot your password?"
  4. Follow the instructions provided by the Password Assistance page to confirm your identity and reset your password. An automated email will be sent to your email address with a new password.
  5. Log in to Kindle Direct Publishing using your new password
