Kindle+ is a subscription program where customers can enjoy unlimited reading and listening of enrolled books. Customers can keep them as long as they want, for a monthly subscription fee. Customers don’t have to be Amazon Prime members to subscribe to Kindle+.

When you enroll your Kindle eBook or audiobook in KDP Select, your books are automatically included in Kindle+ for subscribers. Enrolling in KDP Select doesn't change how your eBook or audiobook is sold on Amazon.

For books to be included in Kindle+, you need to be enrolled in KDP Select. For more information, visit KDP Select requirements. If you don’t want your book to be in the Kindle+ catalog, you can cancel your KDP Select enrollment. Note: Audiobooks in Kindle+ are available for distribution in the US marketplace only at this time.

Audiobooks with virtual voice are automatically enrolled in KDP Select when your corresponding eBook is enrolled. You can't remove your audiobook with virtual voice from KDP Select separately from your eBook. If you only want your eBook in Kindle+, you can unpublish your audiobook with virtual voice. ACX audiobooks can be unenrolled from KDP Select separately from the corresponding eBook if you choose.

How readers find Kindle+ books

When customers subscribe to Kindle+, they see a Kindle+ badge next to enrolled Kindle eBooks or audiobooks, indicating they are available in Kindle+. Audiobooks will show a headphone badge in addition to the Kindle+ badge. They can also visit Amazon's Kindle+ page to see available books in the catalog.

How you’re paid

When your Kindle eBook or audiobook is enrolled in KDP Select, you earn from the KDP Select Global Fund based on your share of total pages read or listened to by Kindle+ subscribers. To learn how royalties work and where to find your earnings reports, visit Royalties in Kindle+.
