Royalties for ACX audiobooks in Kindle+

When your ACX audiobook is enrolled in KDP Select, you earn royalties from Kindle+ listening activity through the KDP Select Global Fund. This is in addition to royalties from your existing Audible earnings.

What you earn from

You earn from the KDP Select Global Fund for the initial consumption of each page read or listened to by a customer. You will be paid a share of the fund each month based on how subscribers engage with your audiobook. Your existing Audible earnings including ALC and Audible Plus royalties remain separate and aren't impacted by Kindle+ enrollment.

How you earn

If a customer reads your eBook first, that counts as the initial consumption. If they then listen to the audiobook of the same title, that is treated the same way a re-read is today and does not generate an additional payout. The same applies if a customer listens to the audiobook first and then reads your eBook of the same title. When customers Read and Listen at the same time (Immersive Reading), and if rates between the formats or subscription programs differ, you will earn at the higher rate.

Where to view ACX audiobook royalties

Earnings from Kindle+ pages listened will be available in KDP reports. Audible royalties for your ACX audiobooks will continue to be found in your ACX account only.
