At this time, Kindle Translate is an invite-only beta for eligible KDP eBooks. To learn more, see the Kindle Translate Beta FAQs and visit our Kindle Translate feature page.
You can use Kindle Translate to create translations for your eligible eBooks between the supported translation options listed below.
When setting up a translation, you can also enable automatic translation and publication as new languages become available. For the best reader experience, we don't recommend language excerpts that differ from your eBook's primary language. These excerpts may not translate correctly. Learn more about Kindle Translate Eligibility and Troubleshooting.

Source eBook primary languages
Your eBook must be set in one of the supported primary languages:
- English
- French
- German
- Spanish
Supported translations
- English ↔ Spanish (Castilian)
- English ↔ German
- English ↔ French
Note:
- The ↔ symbol means translations work in both directions. For example, if your source eBook's primary language is English, you can translate into Spanish and vice versa.
- This page is regularly updated as new translation options are added.
