Pricing and royalties

You can choose to apply your source eBook's royalty plan and list price to your translations or select new royalty plans and list prices. As a reminder, we offer two royalty plans for eBooks:

• 35% royalty
• 70% royalty*

To see the minimum and maximum list price for each royalty plan, check our list price requirements.

*Sales to customers outside of the 70% eligible territories will receive 35% of the list price. Learn more about eBook royalty options.

KDP Reports

As a beta participant, you can view your translated eBook orders, royalties, and payments in KDP Reports as you would any other eBook. Learn more about KDP Reports.

KDP Select

You can manage your KDP Select enrollment separately for translation(s) without impacting your source eBook's enrollment. If your source eBook is enrolled in KDP Select when you submit its translations for publication, those translations will also be enrolled in KDP Select for 90 days. If your source eBook isn't enrolled, you can choose to enroll your translations to reach more readers. This enrollment will automatically renew for additional 90-day periods, unless you opt out from the Kindle Translate management page.

To edit your KDP Select enrollment:

1. Go to your KDP Bookshelf.
2. Select Manage translations next to the translation you want to edit.
3. On the Kindle Translate management page, select KDP Select info.
4. Update your KDP Select enrollment and select Submit for publishing.
