Amazon Author Central lets you create your Author Page where you can share the most up-to-date information about yourself and your books with millions of readers. It helps readers find your books easily and in one place.

In Amazon Author Central, you can:

• Check Customer Reviews
• Add Editorial Reviews for your books (US feature only)
• Check BookScan sales information (US feature only)
• Check the number of Amazon followers

Author Follow

The Follow button can be found on your Author Page or book's detail page, and it allows Amazon customers to add you to their favorite authors to learn about you and your new books as they become available.

Your followers will be notified of your book’s release or availability for pre-order on our website if your book is eligible, your followers allow marketing emails from Amazon, and if they haven't already placed an order for your new book. We will also consider sending notifications via email when you submit at least three new book recommendations for your own books or books written by other authors.

You can check the total number of Amazon customers who are following you by accessing your Amazon Author Central account.

To get started on Author Central, you need to register and claim your Author Page. Learn how to get started.

Get started

To create your Author Central account:

1. In KDP, go to the Marketing page.
2. In the Author Central section, choose the marketplace where you’d like to create your Author Page from the drop-down menu.
3. Click Manage author page.
4. You’ll be redirected to Author Central. Click Join for free and use your KDP account information to sign up.
5. Search one book you have written by ISBN, ASIN, or author name.
6. Once you've found the book, click onit, and then click Yes, join as "your author name."

• Amazon.de
• Amazon.fr
• Amazon.co.jp
• Amazon.com.br

Author Pages are also available in the following marketplaces:

• Amazon.in*
• Amazon.it*
• Amazon.es*
• Amazon.com.au*
• Amazon.ca*
• Amazon.com.mx*

*Author Pages will be created if you have books available in those marketplaces. The information that will display is collected from the US marketplace and cannot currently be edited.
