Kindle Comic Creator

Kindle Comic Creator is a free tool for authors and publishers to turn their comics, graphic novels and manga into Kindle books. The tool makes it easy for authors and publishers to import artwork, create their preferred customer reading experience, and see how their book will look on Kindle devices.

Download Kindle Comic Creator

If you'd like to download Kindle Comic Creator, visit our KDP Tools and Resources page for download links. Once you select a language, the installer will guide you through the installation process. When you start creating a new book, Kindle Comic Creator will guide you through options like primary language, Kindle Panel settings, book orientation, page progression direction, and the metadata details of the book such as title, author name, publisher name, and cover image.

Upload Your File

Once you've created your comic book file with Kindle Comic Creator, download the MOBI file from the tool. Then log in to KDP and add the title to your account.

See our Getting Started guide for more details about adding a title to your account.

Read the User Guide

If you have detailed questions about how to use Kindle Comic Creator, take a look at our User Guide.

File Size & Royalties

Comic book files are usually larger than the average file for a novel or other plain text work. To assess what your delivery costs will be, upload your comic book file and look at the royalty grid on the Rights & Pricing step.
